A bitcoin private key is a secret number. The modulo GENESIS key represents that number in binary. The GENESIS key has 256 specific positions (the binary bits.) When you randomly assemble the arrowhead bits into the eight slots of the key's body you can read it as a 0 or as a 1. Each side of the key's eight faces are numbered at the base of the key. You decide the order of bits read—we highly recommend starting with side seven at the top being the most significant digit (leftmost digit in a number) and ending on side zero at the bottom as the least significant, or rightmost, digit. However you set the order must be remembered as that order determines the integer of your private key.
